Art Club
The purpose of the Art Club is to involve both art students and non-art students in the exploration of art appreciation and knowledge. The art club offers diverse artistic opportunities to participating students. Requirements of membership include interest, participation, teamwork, and desire to improve oneself through art and creative accomplishments. The Art Club is open to all students in the high school. The workshops are held on Wednesdays in art room F107 after school. Art Club presents an Art Sale held on February 26th and 27th to generate finances for the Art Clubbers art materials. The art club is not financed through the art department budget. A Great Time is Always Had By All !!
One Thursday in each month, the Art club goes to one of the four local elementary schools, Parkview Elementary, and has workshops with the after school children.

Visioneers Design Challenge
Visioneers is a recent statewide competition for students in middle and high school interested in design arts that are connected with professional fields. There are eleven categories, (Animation, architecture, digital photography, fashion, game design, illustration, point of purchase, product design, regional planning, video production, and web design) each with it's own challenge. Competitors complete a long term project that they will bring to the competition for judging. This is New London's second year competing in the Visioneers program. Last year we brought four team members to the competition, and we are hoping for a full team this year.
